Stephen Bagatti BSc (Hons) MRAPS
While earning his BSC (with Honours) in Estate Management, Stephen worked in the family restaurant businesses and then in the late 1980’s he started working in the commercial property sector which led him on to practice in both the West End of London and Hong Kong.

Stephen then went on to work within the corporate hospitality sector in both unit and area management for such operators as Scottish & Newcastle and La Tasca. He subsequently re-entered the property market specialising in restaurants for Christie + Co at their central London office and thereafter for Shelley Sandzer and Davis Coffer Lyons.

Having worked for the leading companies in the leisure property industry and covering all aspects of this field, Stephen realised that a sales driven environment can sometimes cloud an agent’s judgment on what is best for the client. With this in mind and with decades of a uniquely combined experience in catering, leisure property, commercial property and corporate hospitality, Selsian was founded in 2008, bringing forth Stephen’s vision for operators to benefit from impartial, straightforward advice and consultancy.

Marc Rogers BSc (Hons) MRAPS
Marc achieved a BSc (Hons) in Hotel and Catering Management at The University of Surrey. The degree included a year placement at Hyatt Hotel in Paris where Marc spent his time in the Food and Beverage Department. It was there that Marc galvanised his interest in hospitality which lead Marc to join Leon Restaurants on completion of his degree. On joining Leon Marc undertook various head office roles from operations to marketing but his main focus was on restaurant acquisitions.

Marc subsequently left Leon to join Shelley Sandzer where amongst others, he became Leon’s retained agent and assisted them in their growth from two restaurants to nine. During Marc’s four years at Shelley Sandzer his main focus was off market acquisitions for multiple restaurants groups such as Nando’s, Tragus, Gondola and Clapham House Group. Marc joined Selsian in 2009 and is still focused mainly on acquisitions.

Anthony Gaughan BA (Hons) MRAPS
Anthony graduated in the late nineties from the University of Manchester after studying a Spanish language degree that included a year living and working abroad in Chile. As part of his degree he studied other European languages and has also spent substantial amount of time living in France.

From an initial career in hospitality and TV producing, Anthony then joined one of the UK’s leading leisure agencies where he practised for many years as an agent specialising in the acquisition and disposal of leisure properties. Anthony joined Selsian in 2009 as a highly experienced consultant who has worked with a broad range of clients both in the UK and throughout Europe. He has focused on generating new business development, managing disposal and acquisition transactions for both individual and multiple operators up to the value of £10 million.
