Leon, the healthy fast food restaurant chain founded by John Vincent and Henry Dimbleby has recently acquired its 19th restaurant in the heart of Farringdon, an area which is seeing a huge amount of regeneration due to the Crossrail redevelopment. It is anticipated that in 2018 when complete, Farringdon will be one if Britain’s busiest stations with 140 trains passing through it every hour.
The site at 2 Cowcross Street, which previously traded as Tony & Guy, is due to undergo a complete re-fit and it is anticipated it will open at the beginning of September. It is understood that T&G have relocated to a smaller site on Turnmill Street.
Selsian, acting on behalf of Leon negotiated a new 15-year lease on the 2,446 sq ft property at an annual rent of £155,000.
