Bistro Delicat at 124 Northcote Road, SW11 has been sold to Lola Rojo Ltd. Bistro Delicat traded as a French & Austrian Bistro and was owned by Erik Ammer who was previously in charge of catering for the Red Bull Racing Formula One Team and has decided to sell the business in order to return to Formula 1.
Lola Rojo, 78 Northcote Road, specialises in authentic Spanish Tapas and is run by husband and wife team Christina and Antonio. In 2010 they featured on Gordon Ramsey’s The F Word in his search for the country’s best local restaurant.
Christina and Antonio know the area exceptionally well having been trading on Northcote Road for the past 4 years and are more often than not fully booked, hence the reason to open a second restaurant no more than 300 metres away.
The new restaurant named Rosita will feature a sit down bar and will specialise in Spanish Sherry’s and tapas. Rosita is due to open in early November after a re-fit.
Selsian, acted on behalf of Bistro Delicat on an assignment of the existing lease of the 950 sq ft / 88 sq m venue, at a passing rent of £32,000 pa together with an undisclosed premium. Lola Rojo were un represented.
