Named Tramontana Brindisa, the fourth restaurant in the group will celebrate the cuisine of the Spanish Mediterranean. The 100-cover restaurant, featuring an 18 metre dining bar and outside courtyard, is situated on the former SAF site in Curtain Road, Shoreditch and will open mid August 2012.

Brindisa Tapas Kitchens was formed in 2004 by Monika Linton and business partner, Finance Director Ratnesh Bagdai (also business partner to Mark Hix of HIX restaurants). Monika Linton said “We are thrilled to be opening in the vibrant neighbourhood of Shoreditch”.

The company, which also operates restaurants in Borough, Soho and South Kensington, has secured a new long term lease at £130,000 pa for the 3,000 sq ft (279 sq m) site that is arranged on ground and basement. An undisclosed premium was also paid as part of this off market deal.

Property advisor Selsian acted on behalf of Brindisa on the deal whilst Paul Belchak & Co advised the landlord.
